Ryan Gosling makes his interstellar: the impressive trailer of Project Hail Mary
The actor of La Land will venture into the borders of space to save humanity in this huge SF blockbuster from the Amazon MGM studio, signed Chris Lord and Phil Miller.

Amazon MGM Studios has just unveiled the first trailer for Project Hail Maryambitious adaptation of the science fiction novel signed Andy Weir (which had also signed Alone on March). A video that promises a large epic odyssey in the stars, to save humanity.
Gosling Incarnates Ryland Grace, a science teacher who wakes up aboard a spacecraft lost to light years from the earth … Without any memory of whom he is, or how he got there. Little by little, memory comes back to him: his mission is crucial. He must solve the mystery of an unknown substance that threatens to turn off the sun. The extinction of the planet is at stake. But an unexpected event – an improbable friendship – may well change the situation.
The role marks the actor’s second foray in the astronaut registerAfter First Man (2018). But at the time, he played Neil Armstrong in a realistic biopic, not in a SF adventure.
At his side, there will be a solid international cast with Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a fall), Milana Vayntrub, Bastian Antonio Fuentes, Isla McRae et James Wright.
Project Hail Mary is signed by the Oscar -winning duo Phil Lord et Christopher Millerto whom we owe 21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie And especially behind the recent animated saga Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The scenario is signed Drew Goddardalready in writing Alone on March.
Produced by Ryan Gosling, Amy Pascal, Andy Weir himself, and of course Lord & Miller, Project Hail Mary promises to be One of the major SF meetings of 2026.
The film will be released in the USA March 20, 2026. The French release date is not yet known. We do not yet know if the film will go through the cinemas and if it will have a direct outing in streaming via Amazon Prime Video.
