The film Super Mario Bros 2 has an official title that will recall memories: first teaser

Released announced next spring.

Two years after Mario’s Jackpot in the cinema ($ 1.3 billion in revenue), it’s time to go back to the mushroom kingdom!

Universal et Illumination have unveiled a first teaser who announces the rest, and Super Mario Bros., film 2 will actually be called: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

The precise French title is not yet known (it will surely be Super Mario Galaxy, the movies)but obviously this second part takes up the name of the cult game – Super Mario Galaxy – Released on Wii in 2007.

Exit scheduled for April 1, 2026 in theaters in France.

Announced during a Nintendo Direct, on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the very first Super Mario Bros. (September 13, 1985), this new chapter will bring Mario and Luigi to return against Bowser, with, certainly, references under the title of Nintendo to the shovel.

In parallel, Nintendo also prepares for another eagerly awaited adaptation of Zeldaco -produced with Sony Pictures and directed by Wes Ball, scheduled for March 26, 2027 with Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth in the roles of Zelda and Link.
