Star Wars is preparing his return to dark rooms, six years after L’Ascension de Skywalker (2019). The next film in the saga will be The Mandalorian and Grogudirect continuation of the Disney Plus series, produced by Jon Favreauwhich also signs the scenario alongside Dave Filoni.
Lucasfilm has just unveiled the trailer, which puts the package on the little green monster, very present in the video (below), especially in an adorable face to face with Sigourney Weaver !
The story always takes place after the fall of the Empire, in the wake of Episode VI, a few years later The return of the Jedi.
The synopsis details: “The evil empire has fallen, but its imperial warlords remain dispersed in the four corners of the galaxy. While the New Republic tries to protect the heritage of the rebellion, it calls on the legendary Mandalorian premium hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young growing apprentice”, announces the official synopsis.
The trailer therefore brings together Din Djarin – Always played by Pedro Pascal under armor, with his friend Grogalias Baby Yoda. We discover epic clashes in the face of evil robots and galactic creatures. A few winks will also delight amateurs: the adorable little aliens of L’Ascension de Skywalker, Babu Frik and his band, as well as Zeb organios of Star Wars Rebels. We even see a titanic fight against a creature close to the rancor in the arena Broken the huttand a spectacular sequence where an AT-AT crashes in slow motion along a mountain.

The film marks the return of Star Wars On the big screen and the trailer really promises an independent and fun adventure in the Galaxy of George Lucas, leaving aside larger mythology. The next opus, Star Wars: Starfightersign Shawn Levy and expected for May 2027, with Ryan Gosling, Amy Adams, Matt Smith et Mia Gothwill also be in this vein.
By then, The Mandalorian and Grogu will come out in the cinema the May 20, 2026 in France.
