Review Of Season 1 Of Accused:

A classic crime drama show is Accused. Accused has always managed to get people’s attention, whether in the British version or the American version. Many people like how it takes a unique method to crime cases and lets the offender take charge. Without the acting part of the course, it feels a bit like a reality show.

Several crime shows show the fight between the police and the criminals. These shows are well-liked, but they don’t let those charged speak for themselves. The players, the plot, and the drama make the show something else.

There are, of course, some things that the show can’t do. For example, some of the stories seem to drag on a bit too long, even though the charged person has already been found guilty. Aside from the rest, the show gives you an hour of feelings and thrills.

Should  You  Watch  Accused?

Accused turned out pretty well, considering everything it has to give. The company did a great job promoting the show, and it has also helped that the show is good.

This is the case due to the narrative of the series and the way each player played their part helped the accused decide what to throw at the audience. Overall, Accused is a great show to watch if you want to watch a serious crime thriller.

Age rating is the process of putting media into different categories based on who can watch it and how old they are. The TV show “Accused” has a TV-14 rating, which means that it is for people ages 14 and up. We highly suggest that people under 14 stay away from it because it has mature content.

Recap Of  “Scott’s Story,” The First Episode Of Season 1 Of Accused:

As he gets checked in, a man hits him with a paintball and yells “murderer” from outside the court. In the past, we witness Scott tell a young girl named Myranda that she can get help for her cancer.

Lynn, his wife, calls him and tells him to go to Devin’s school. The director and teachers tell Devin’s parents that he is being taken out of school. He was arrested for attempting to kill a girl at school because she and her group of friends were picking on him.

Scott is surprised, but Lynn acts like nothing happened. She even uses the people she knows to get him into another school, Bellavista. Scott watches old movies of Devin, which show his worrying pattern of being bossy, not getting along with others, and getting violent when he’s angry.

Lynn says that maybe Devin may go returning to Dr. Lu, his old therapist, but Scott says that’s not going to happen. Back in court, the lawyer asks Scott if he’s ever thought about killing his son.

In past times, we see Scott talking to Devin in the morning. Devin says that he wants the neighbor’s dog to be “put down” because he is a bother.

During Myranda’s surgery, Scott gets angry at a fellow junior, as well as his old friend Dr. Becker sees it. He thinks it’s strange because Scott typically is the most laid-back person within the room. Scott tells Becker that Devin’s acts are making him feel worried, but he fails to approach Becker for help.

Becker is called to the stand to say bad things about Scott. He is questioned if Scott has ever tried to hurt or kill his son.

Becker is there for his friend, but he doesn’t deny what Scott told him about expecting to get a call that Devin is dead one day and not being sad about it, just glad it’s over.

Alex, Scott’s other son, tells him that he was awarded a college grant. Scott is happy, but his happiness doesn’t last long when he sees that his friend has put up pictures of her lost dog. Scott thinks Devin did something to him, so he talks to his son about it.

Devin gets defensive as well as walks out. Scott also overhears Devin talking about giving money to Jasper, an internet friend, for something. Scott finds Devin’s hidden secret diary in his room.

It shows the bad things he’s been thinking, making it clear he possesses a mental problem. He could potentially be harmful to other people, and as he says in the book, he might kill the bullies at school.

The lawyer thinks that Scott took the harder choice when he killed his son before killing anyone else. This is what Becker calls the “cold calculus” of choices within their job. Scott learns regarding a tourist who died after falling into Deep Gorge and plans to kill Devin there. Devin says he will do it, but only if Scott gives him the money.

The father and son then head to the camp. The first night, before the walk, they set up camp. Scott’s actions seems strange to Devin. The next day, they climbed up to the top.

As they walk along a small hill, Scott starts to think about pushing his son downward. But he can’t do it. Devin talks to him about his anger, and he seems sorry for how he treats other people.

He explains that he requires assistance and needs the money so he and his friend Jasper can go on a vacation to Iceland. Devin thinks that he will be a different person when he comes back, and he even accepts to see a doctor.

Scott is glad that he doesn’t want to appear this angry anymore. When they get back in the house, Lynn is shocked by how Devin has changed. She tells him that the dog, Bandit, has been found and that Devin was never responsible. Jasper, who is in a wheelchair, is called to the stand by the lawyer.

Back in the past, we witness Scott tell Becker the good news, but then he sees on the headlines that there has been an attack at Devin’s high school, which is shocking.

He runs to the scene and finds out that one of the shooters is Devin. The other one is Jasper, and the captain puts Scott in touch with Devin. When Devin tells his father that he wants to kill him, it seems strange.

He says he lied about going to Iceland in order to obtain cash, buy guns, and conclude his unhappy life on a high note. Scott doesn’t deny any of it, and after murdering seven high school kids, he hears his child kill himself.

Jasper says that Scott was always intending to kill Devin and that he gave Scott the money so that Devin could carry out it himself. But the judge rules in Scott’s favour, and he is set free. Lynn is happy, but Alex turns away from him. Lynn starts to cry, and then she says that Scott should have killed Devin sooner.

Conclusion:

Accused is a fantastic crime drama show that has a lot of promise and looks like it will go in a good direction. So far, the cast and staff of Accused have done a good job of making it a good story. Since only three episodes of the show have been aired so far, there are still 12 more to come.

Because of this, the company hasn’t said anything about season 2 of the show. We’ll let you know about any new information about the show as quickly as the studio makes it public. So, don’t forget to check out our site.
