A family of three was crushed by a car and was accused under the charges of driving and vehicular manslaughter.
The woman Raihan Awaida, husband Joseph, and their 3-year old son, Omar, were hit by a car on Thursday night.
The three went out to celebrate Halloween festivities in Long Beach on Thursday night. However, on their way back home, a sports vehicle rode up to the sidewalk and ended up striking the whole family.
The man died on the spot just after the crash happened, and the son and the mother were taken to the hospital.
The three-year-old son who was struggling with death passed away on Saturday at the hospital, and the mother was not far away.
On Sunday evening, Raihan Awaida passed away after surviving through a critical health condition at the same hospital.
The police have investigated the case thoroughly and identified the driver of the sports car to be Carlo Navarro, of twenty years.
The accused individual has been recognized as an individual of Long Beach, Calif and has been arrested at an urgent notice by the police.
