Nathan Ambrosioni wins the Diamant Valois, Marie-Hélène Roux’s film leaves with three trophies including that of the public and best actor for Isaach de Bankolé, just like that of Erige Sehiri, especially awarded for its staging.
Forgotten the bug of last year when the jury of Kristin Scott-Thomas had chosen to completely snub Rabia (and the performance of Morgan Northam, praised unanimously everywhere in the process). That of Diane Kruger seemed in total agreement with what we have perceived from the feeling of the public in theaters since Monday. At only 26 years old, Ambrosioni confirms the increasingly important place he occupies and will occupy in French cinema.
But two other films also tied up under the awards this evening.
