AOC slams lawmakers over unregulated lender bailout: ‘Horrendous’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to assault lawmakers from each events who despatched a letter to the Federal Reserve asking it to bail out unregulated lenders.

“I don’t care what get together you’re in. That is unacceptable,” AOC thundered to her 6.eight million followers.

“Much more appalled to see that just about each signatory of this letter sits on the Monetary Providers Committee. Democrat AND Republican members are engaged on this horrendous habits. It’s mistaken and erodes the general public belief. They need to return the money or rescind the letter.”

New York Rep. Lee Zeldin was among the many signatories of the letter. Unregulated lenders have precipitated controversy up to now, providing high-interest loans in low-income communities.
