Ben Affleck has revealed in a brand new interview that he considers his divorce from ex-wife Jennifer Garner to be the largest regret of his life.
Affleck, 47, opened as much as the New York Instances about how his crumbling marriage prompted his relapse into alcohol abuse and the rehab stint that adopted.
“I drank comparatively usually for a very long time,” Affleck shared. “What occurred was that I began ingesting increasingly more when my marriage was falling aside. This was 2015, 2016. My ingesting, of course, created extra marital issues.”

In 2018, Affleck and Garner divorced after 13 years of marriage. They share kids Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Sam, 7.
“The most important regret of my life is that this divorce,” he continued. “Disgrace is absolutely poisonous. There is no such thing as a constructive byproduct of disgrace. It’s simply stewing in a poisonous, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing.”
Whereas Affleck acknowledges the position he performed in the deterioration of their union — and his personal life — he’s making an attempt to not “obsess” over it.
“It’s not notably wholesome for me to obsess over the failures — the relapses — and beat myself up,” he mentioned. “I’ve actually made errors. I’ve actually executed issues that I regret.
