Big Little Lies will return! HBO formalizes season 3
But what actresses in the casting will be there?

It’s now official: Big Little Lies will come back for a saison 3 on HBO.
The chain has just entrusted the writing of the first episode to Francesca Sloaneco-creator of Mr. and Mrs. Smith (that of Prime Video), which will also officiate as an executive producer alongside David E. Kelleyof Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. The two actresses will once again lead the casting.
For several months, rumors were going well: as early as November 2023, Nicole Kidman had suggested that a new chapter could emerge. But no official confirmation has been given so far.
What story for season 3?
Season 1 adapted the eponymous novel of Liane Moriartywhile season 2 was based on unprecedented equipment written by the author. A new novel by Moriarty, sequence of Big Little Liesis expected in 2026. And logically, we say that the scripts could base themselves on it.
Quel casting ?
Which will return alongside Nicole Kidman et Reese Witherspoonalready announced? For the time being, no info. But the series had in particular Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, Alexander Skarsgård, Adam Scott, James Tupper et Jeffrey Nordlingwithout forgetting Meryl Streepcome to join the adventure in season 2. No filming or broadcasting date has so far been announced by HBO. The series will be seen in France on HBO Max. It will certainly not be before 2027.
