Box-Office France: The Fantastic Four beaten by Bad Guys

The film Marvel sees its attendance fell heavily in the second week and it is the continuation of the animation saga that takes the opportunity to take the lead in the hexagonal classification.
The second part of summer is already well underway and the French box office always seems to have a little trouble taking off. But there are good news.
This week, Les Bad Guys 2 takes the lead in the national ranking. The animated film starts well with 405,000 admissions for its first week. Distributed by Universal, this return from bandits to the big heart offers a very solid average (674 spectators per copy). The families responded present, and the rest does much better than the first part (260,000 admissions in the first week in 2022).
Behind, The fantastic four: first steps Loses 50 % of its attendance in the second week, but adds 350,000 additional tickets, helped by good criticism. The superhero film accumulates today more than 1 million spectators at the French box office, a correct performance, which does better than the reboot of Four fantastic from 2015 for the moment.
The good surprise comes from Dracula. The last Luc Besson Make a nice start with 270,000 admissions. Distributed by SND, this return to the horrific sources of the vampiric myth displays a good average (559 spectators per copy) and does much better than the previous opus of the French filmmaker, Dogman (which had started at 150,000 admissions in 2023).
In the rest of the ranking, it should be noted that in fifth week, Jurassic World : Renaissance Resist well with 220,000 new entries, down only 35 %. The film now has more than 2.5 million admissions (2,567,951), becoming one of the rare summer blockbusters to cross this symbolic bar, without however finding the power of the first parts of the franchise.
Finally, Supermanin the fourth week, records still 150,000 admissions. Again, the 35 % drop is moderate, but it confirms a trend: the public does not completely sulk the Warner reboot, but does not ignite either. The film is advancing, without flight and will probably end up under the 2 million spectators in France.
