Breakpoint Season 2 : Storyline
Break Point is a documentary series on Netflix that is all about tennis. As seasoned world winners think about retiring, the tennis world is changing. At the highest level of the game, new people are ready to show what they can do.
It was made with help from the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the Association about Tennis Professionals (ATP). It shows how the up-and-coming tennis players live everyday and get ready for tournaments.
We get to know some less well-known tennis players better in this show. As they play in Grand Slams, ATP, and WTA events around the world, we follow them. It shows the best and worst times of many players during different times in the 2022 season.
“I think the two James [Gay-Rees] and I were interested in tennis since we almost worked in Andre Agassi in a project a few years ago,” says executive producer Paul Martin. ” We were moved by spending time via Andre and hearing him talk about how hard games are on the mind and body.
It didn’t work out with that project, but we always knew we’d get back to tennis and show people a side of the game they didn’t know about.
This upcoming 2022 season, “many athletes will have experiences that vary at different times,” but we also know that up-and-coming stars like Nick Kyrgioss are likely to attract a lot about attention. Andy Auger-Aliassime or Taylor Fritz are two of the men who will be playing. Stephanos Tsitsipas, Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz, Kyrgios, while Casper Ruud are also on the list.
Along with Ons Jabeur or Paula Badosa, we are also going to keep track of Marie Sakkari, Sloane Stephens, or Iga Swiatek’s plans.
Since the first shows haven’t come out yet, it’s hard to say for sure what will take place in the second season. But, as Netflix says, “the series offers a personal look during a number of unlikely tennis stars while we follow them throughout the globe, competing to Grand Slams or tournaments upon the ATP or WTA tours.”
With “the volatility of a number of players at various times throughout the twenty-first season,” we know that developing stars including Nick Kyrgioss will be in the show.
