California cops arrest black man who was seen ‘dancing in the road’: video

Two California cops are below investigation for arresting a black man who was dancing in the road, in keeping with reviews and bodycam footage of the arrest.

The footage, launched over the weekend, exhibits the two officers method Mali Watkins on Might 23 in Alameda after a girl known as 911 and stated that “an African American man is dancing in the road and clearly one thing is unsuitable with him,” CNN reported.

The officers detain Watkins at the scene after he tells them he’s dancing for train, in keeping with the video.

“You’re dancing in the road,” certainly one of the cops says to Watkins, the video exhibits.

“So what? I’m dancing in the road,” a clearly confused Watkins responds.

The cops then seize his arms and take him into custody, in keeping with the video.

Watkins was arrested and cited for resisting arrest, CNN reported.

Political leaders in the metropolis — together with the vice mayor and the metropolis supervisor — have known as for an investigation into the officers’ actions whereas saying they’re “outraged” by the video.
