California man survives seven days on a snowy road

A 29-year-old California man survived a week in his automobile after being trapped in a deep snowbank, based on The Related Press.

“He didn’t lose hope, he wouldn’t quit. He mentioned he couldn’t try this to his household,” the mother of Harland Earls defined of how he survived.

Earls was driving again to North Lake Tahoe when a winter storm hit, forcing him to seek out another route again residence.

However his GPS rerouted him by way of an unplowed part of Tahoe Nationwide Forest, inflicting his automobile to get caught in about six to eight inches of snow.

After his mobile phone acquired moist and stopped working, Earls hunkered down at the back of his automobile.

“That space has spotty cell service. He was lucky that he was in a position to find a spot with a sign,” Sierra Nevada Sheriff-Coroner Mike Fisher mentioned.

Emergency dispatchers managed to trace Earls location and ship a helicopter to rescue him.
