Coast Guard searching for 16 boat passengers off Florida

The US Coast Guard is searching for 16 individuals who went lacking in separate incidents off the coast of Florida.

One search started after an excellent Samaritan rescued a person from the ocean 23 miles east of Fort Pierce Friday after which alerted the Coast Guard, which took him to shore.

The survivor, a Jamaican nationwide, informed the Coast Guard that six others had additionally gone into the water after their boat capsized Wednesday en route from Bimini within the Bahamas.

The Coast Guard additionally stated it was searching for 10 individuals who reportedly left Havana Sunday in a 6-foot “makeshift” vessel. The company stated it was searching the Key West space.
