Death of Georgia man charged in Capitol riot ‘beneath investigation’

A Georgia man charged in reference to final week’s violent US Capitol riot has since died, in line with a neighborhood report.

Christopher Stanton Georgia, 53, died at his dwelling in Alpharetta on Saturday, Atlanta-based outlet 11Alive Information reported.

An Alpharetta police report obtained by the outlet didn’t checklist a trigger of demise, however mentioned Georgia’s demise was “beneath investigation.” 

Officers eliminated two rifles from Georgia’s dwelling, the report mentioned.

He had been charged with illegal entry and violating a citywide curfew that took impact at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the night time of the lethal siege in the nation’s capital.
