Dramatic doorbell video launched by Illinois police captures a homeowner fighting off a would-be robber in a Saturday home invasion that left one other suspect useless, a report stated Thursday.
The footage obtained by the Day by day Herald shows Bradley Finnan, 39, and Larry Brodacz, 58, sporting masks and gloves as they method the Arlington Heights home and knock on the door.
“Hey, the way you doing, boss?” one of many intruders says earlier than each stroll inside.
Moments after the masked duo enter the home, yelling might be heard. About 20 seconds later, the homeowner shoves Finnan out the door and onto the bottom, earlier than repeatedly punching him.
Amid the wrestle, the homeowner yells “Assist” towards landscapers throughout the road, the footage shows.
Finnan then runs away and journeys into the road because the homeowner rushes again inside.
