Drifting Home : Storyline

At the beginning of the cartoon, we see Kosuke and Natsume as kids, when they were best friends. While both of them were both in the sixth grade, Kosuke’s grandfather died. This made their friendship worse.

After many years, Kosuke and a few of his pals break into a historic residence that is going to be taken down over the summer. Some people don’t go inside given they believe it’s haunted. Because while his grandfather used to live there, Kosuke sneaks in. It’s where he has the best memories in his best friend Natsume.

She meets Kosuke there, which serves as a surprise, and the two of them talk concerning their pasts. In order to find out more about Noppo, he asks himself if he knows anything. Then something takes place, and all of them pass off at exactly the same time.

They see a big ocean when they wake up. The ocean makes them feel like they belong, and the flat moves away from them. Six of them need to work together to crawl to the ground and get out of here. In the show, they have fun at the beach, make experiences, cry, be scared, fight, and labour together. In addition, a trip to wave goodbye in summer begins…

Are they both going to be enabled to get home? Or will they sink when they hit the water? Read Drifting Home to learn everything you should know. The two of them have been friends because they were kids. They were brought up together like they were siblings.

But their friendship started to change when Kosuke’s grandpa, Yasutsugu, died in sixth grade. After school is out for the summer, Kosuke along with certain of his friends sneak onto an apartment building that is about to be torn down because it has been reported as haunted.

It makes Kosuke and Natsume think of a lot of things because they both grew up there. Natsume asks Kosuke if he understands anything concerning the strange Noppo when they meet there. Yet all of suddenly something strange happens that involves them.

Two friends in the group grew separated because they didn’t live together in the same room. Because this old building is going to be torn down, they can get back together. The strange summer vacation turns out to be full of strange things that happen.

In the next occurrence, these pals wake up from a coma to find that the entire structure was completely washed away. It’s in the ocean now. As they drift, they need to come together to identify their way to the water next to them.

The story is full of magic and new ideas. With the two teasers, we got a sneak peek at the story over time. During the summer, Kosuke and his friends sneak into a rental property that is going to be torn down and is said to be haunted. The place is very important to both of them because it is where they grew up.

Kosuke runs into Natsume there and is asked whether he knows anything about the strange Noppo. But all of a sudden, they become involved in a strange event. When they wake up, they see a huge ocean in front of them. Kosuke or the other people in the apartment building work together to try to stay alive as it moves into an unknown sea. There are still tears and fights, but maybe people can get along again.
