‘Duck Dynasty’ star Kay Robertson bit by family canine: She bled ‘profusely’

“Duck Dynasty” star Kay Robertson is in restoration after her family’s canine Bobo attacked her face with a chew to her mouth that left her bleeding “profusely.”

Phil and Jase Robertson detailed the incident that result in Kay, 73, being hospitalized and needing stitches on Wednesday’s episode of their podcast, “Unashamed.”

Phil, 75, stated that shortly after the chew, his spouse approached him holding a rag towards her face to attempt to cease the bleeding.

“I stated, ‘Transfer that rag a minute,”’ Phil recalled. “She takes the rag off her face, and I’m her high lip, [it] was cut up in two, a few quarter of an inch.”

He continued, “Her backside lip, over on the appropriate aspect, there was only a chunk gone. Bleeding profusely is an understatement.”

Phil stated that Kay had tried to provide her sleeping canine a kiss goodnight when the Okay-9 turned on her.

“I stated the previous saying, ‘Miss Kay, let a sleeping canine lie — it’s essential to keep in mind that,’” he shared.

Their son Alan Robertson then chimed in, saying that their canine was riddled with guilt.

“Very first thing [Kay] informed dad when she got here in — she stated, ‘I simply need you to know that Bobo met me on the truck and he apologized,’” Alan, 56, stated.

Phil defined that Bobo might have been extra agitated than common as a result of he has cataracts in his eyes triggered by snake bites.

Kay has had a particular relationship with Bobo for years, telling AL.com in 2013, “Each morning I like to sit down and pray out on my porch with Bobo and [my other dog] JayJay, have a look at the bushes, hear the squirrels and birds. It’s as if God is ready for me to get up and benefit from the bushes and animals.”
