Erykah Badu and Jill Scott turn IG ‘Verzuz’ battle into mutual love-fest

Erykah Badu and Jill Scott helped the music trade grieve the deaths of rock legend Little Richard and leisure mogul Andre Harrell at their “Verzuz” battle on Instagram Stay Saturday evening.

The neo-soul pioneers turned the battle into a night of mutual appreciation as they shared tales and sang alongside to every others’ songs for practically three hours. Badu’s music introduced tears to Scott’s eyes at one level.

“They pitted us towards one another … There’s been some form of stink within the air for a very long time that didn’t belong to us,” Scott mentioned. Badu responded: “I ain’t received no enemies. I don’t received no beef … We’re pals.”
