George W. Bush urges Americans to unite to fight the coronavirus

George W. Bush is asking for Americans to be a part of collectively to face the “shared risk” of the coronavirus.

The previous president made his plea for unity in a video launched on the Twitter account of The George W. Bush Presidential Heart in Dallas.

“Allow us to bear in mind how small our variations are in the face of this shared risk,” Bush mentioned in the three-minute clip.

“In the ultimate evaluation, we aren’t partisan combatants. We’re human beings, equally weak and equally great in the sight of God. We rise or fall collectively.”

Bush famous that he had seen America be a part of to “embrace unavoidable new duties” after the 9/11 assaults, and sees that spirit nonetheless alive and effectively at present.
