Just a couple of days before as per the news, Google’s Home Mini images got leaked on the internet and on the next day, it was officially announced by Google. Though visually it appears similar to that of 2017, it has got the handy wall mount hole on the bottom and improved audio system.
Reportedly, the Nest Mini will feature better audio than before with 2x stronger bass support which will provide more clarity and richer sound effect.
Not only that but Google has also incorporated a feature which they hinted at, long ago, that is the ultrasound for proximity detection. It is one of the coolest features ever which will allow Nest Mini to light up its volume controls, whenever approached.
It also comes with a machine learning chip which is equipped with TeraOPS, for the user’s convenience.
Another newly incorporated feature is the intercom which lets any Nest or Home speaker connect to another in a house. You can also get access to it from your phone. Recently, Google Duo audio calls have also been introduced to Nest and Home speakers.
It also comes with a range of color options Chalk, Charcoal, Sky Blue, and Coral. Google is also showing a great environmental concern by developing a fabric cover that is made from 100% recycled plastic.
