Earlier this summer, a one-year toddler died after falling from the cruise ship, and the police are holding the grandfather as the suspect.
According to the reports of the police, the grandfather was the one who held her up and lifted her to an open window. So, the judge of Puerto Rico issued a warrant against him.
Upon further investigation, it came to the surface that Chloe did not immediately die after falling from the window. She fell more than ten stories down, to finally hit a concrete dock, in the children’s play area.
However, the family never really went by the decision of the police. The family attorney explained that it was her grandfather, who had made her sit on the window. But it also became quite clear from the statement that the grandfather was utterly unaware of the fact that the windows were open.

According to the attorney, Chole was always up to the habit of banging on the panels, and she went to do the same here and fell.
Even the toddler’s parents, Kimberly Wiegand and Alan, revealed to the media that there were no faults of her grandfather and that he has still not overcome the shock.
