Hamptons restaurateurs beg Andrew Cuomo for early re-open

Hamptons officers are begging the governor to permit eating places out East to open for outside consuming quickly, saying it “might be the distinction between [eateries] surviving this financial disaster or closing down completely.”

Beneath Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s reopening plan, al fresco eating can be allowed within the second part, which can start on the finish of June.

However in a letter to Cuomo, officers for Suffolk County — which incorporates East Hampton, Southampton and Montauk — mentioned they’d miss out on “greater than three weeks of gorgeous June climate.” The letter gives, “We are able to provide you with secure options.”
