A suspect was arrested Thursday evening after an lively hostage situation at a Wells Fargo Financial institution in Minnesota, a report stated.
The tense scene unfolded Thursday afternoon at the St. Cloud financial institution department, based on NBC affiliate KARE 11.
A suspect entered the financial institution at about 5:15 p.m. and held numerous staff hostage.
By about 10:30 p.m., a suspect was escorted from the financial institution by the police, KSTP reported.
All the individuals who had been being held hostage are secure, police stated.
It’s unclear what number of hostages had been contained in the financial institution.
“We acknowledge this can be a traumatic second for the group and our colleagues,” a Wells Fargo spokesperson instructed the station.
“The protection and safety of our clients and staff is our most vital precedence.”
