It is said that his Coursera MOOCs have the highest user reviews of any Gies College of Business MOOC.

Weisbenner graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Economics and Mathematics in 1995. From the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in economics in 1999. It is no doubt to say Scott achieved milestones in his life and career while he was alive. As per reports, his achievements include a Research Associate Position at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), which he held since 2009.

Besides, he was nominated for the Campus Excellence in Graduate and Professional Teaching Award and selected for the University of Illinois’ Excellent Teachers List from 2002 to 2018.
