Jail guard caught smuggling pill-filled Rice Krispies Treats: officials

A South Carolina corrections officer discovered herself in a sticky scenario after she was caught trying to smuggle Rice Krispies Treats to inmates — that have been studded with medicine.

Marcy T. Shafer, 43, was busted with the candy and crunchy contraband Thursday as she tried to enter the Camille Griffin Graham Correctional Establishment in Richland County, in keeping with the South Carolina Division of Corrections.

Pictures confirmed the doctored marshmallow snacks inside plastic baggage — and dotted with 4 orange, oval capsules.

Two of the identical capsules have been found in a prescription capsule bottle with Shafer’s title, in keeping with the arrest warrant, nevertheless the capsule bottle was for a unique prescription.

Authorities imagine the six, 30mg capsules are amphetamine and dextroamphetamine.
