Jake Gyllenhaal sings a ‘love song in the age of quarantine’ on Instagram

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal posted a video on Friday of him singing a song entitled “Throughout the Method” as half of a monologue sequence.

The four-and-a-half minute song was written particularly for Gyllenhaal by the composer of the Tony Award-winning musical “Enjoyable House,” Jeanine Tesori, and playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, in line with The Hollywood Reporter.

Gyllenhaal singing lyrics resembling ” Day 32, I washed my fingers, you made a cornish hen / Day 36 you sewed a masks, I washed my fingers once more.”

The sequence, which was launched in mid-March, consists of seven rounds of authentic songs that have been written, produced and recorded inside a 24-hour time restrict and have real-life tales of those that have been affected by the virus.

Different notable individuals embrace Sienna Miller, Patrick Wilson and Rita Wilson.

One remark described the song as “a love song in the age of quarantine.”
