Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov rejected the US president’s statements, Joe biden, on the « annexation of Crimea by Russia ».
Biden stated on Friday that Washington won’t ever acknowledge Crimea’s choice to rejoin Russia and can stand alongside Ukraine in opposition to « Russian aggression. »
« Certainly, it’s not possible to acknowledge the annexation of Crimea. No one talks concerning the annexation of Crimea as a result of there was none. There was a reunification of Crimea with Russia, and in strict accordance with all of the norms of worldwide legislation, » Peskov advised reporters.
The spokesman recalled that the reunification was the end result of the choice of the Crimean legislative physique, « in accordance with the standing of Crimea then inside Ukraine. »
