Mayhem ensues after thousands show up for fake Daft Punk concert in Belgium

Police in Belgium deployed tear gasoline and water cannons on thousands of people that gathered in a Brussels park for an April Fools’ get together, which was jokingly marketed as a Daft Punk reunion concert.

Some 20,000 accepted a social media invite for the get together, and up to five,000 revelers really confirmed up for the silly get together — despite the fact that the occasion planners had stated the invitation was a hoax.

Lots of of cops used riot ways to disperse the gang as many partiers pumped their fists and chanted “freedom,” and threw bottles and rocks at police tools.

“We’re all depressed. I’ll be 18 in two weeks, we need to make the most of our youth,” highschool pupil Amelie stated. “We got here to not annoy the police, however to show that we even have a life and need to take pleasure in it.”
