Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released a week earlier digitally.
Spider-Man: No Way Home had plenty of leaks leading up to its theatrical release. Well, that has been happening again, with various HD clips from the Tom Holland-led film arriving online before it officially hits on digital.
Tom Holland’s latest Spider-Man flick was supposed to hit Digital HD on March 22nd, but recent leaks might’ve forced Sony’s hand. According to Fandango Erik Davis, No Way Home will arrive a week early, hitting digital platforms on March 15th. Physical copies of the Sony film will still hit store shelves on April 12th.
Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is playing in theaters and arrives digitally on March 15, while the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray,, and DVD are available in stores on April 12.
