Pat Kiernan officiates couple’s wedding ceremony via Zoom on NY1

Mazel tov! A pair in lockdown have been married by anchor Pat Kiernan on Zoom Thursday dwell on NY1.

Kiernan — who on April 20 tweeted a proposal to officiate weddings — wed Division of Sanitation employee Julie Raskin and lawyer Matthew Haicken with the community’s staffers Roger Clark, Annika Pergament and Jamie Stelter taking part in digital witnesses.

The couple’s canine served as ring bearer. Raskin mentioned their mother and father are aged and her father is sick with most cancers, and a Zoom wedding “takes the stress away and makes it one thing enjoyable to rejoice.”
