Photos show girls who were dropped over fence having snacks with border agent

Photos emerged Friday displaying the 2 little girls who were dropped over a border fence by smugglers and left in a distant part of New Mexico. 

One of many snaps, revealed by Fox Information, exhibits the children, a pair of sisters from Ecuador ages 5 and three, dressed up in similar blue shirts and sweatpants receiving a snack from Customs and Border Safety El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez. 

“Once I visited with these little girls, they were so loving and so talkative, a few of them were asking the names of all of the brokers that were there round them, and so they even mentioned they were a little bit hungry,” Chavez instructed the outlet. 

“So I helped them peel a banana and open a juice field and simply talked to them. You understand, kids are simply so resilient and I’m so grateful that they’re not severely injured or [have] damaged limbs or something like that.”

Agent Chavez mentioned the 2 little girls are “doing effective.”

On Wednesday, gorgeous video launched by Chavez confirmed how the girls were dropped over a border fence in Santa Teresa and deserted in the midst of the evening, miles from the closest residence, by a pair of smugglers who took off working on the Mexican facet of the fence.

Chavez mentioned on Thursday the girls are actually “doing effective.” 

“I used to be actually horrified and appalled and anxious after I first noticed the photographs come by means of from my employees,” Chavez instructed Fox Information. 

“Once I noticed that first baby dropped to the bottom after which not see her transfer for just a few seconds, I truthfully thought this baby simply in all probability hit her head and is unconscious. After which I see the second baby and instantly DHS, clearly, inside a couple of minutes responded to that space to rescue them.”

The Biden administration has been grappling with a crush of unaccompanied kids on the border that officers are struggling to deal with.
