Prince Philip admitted to hospital after feeling unwell

Britain’s Prince Philip, the 99-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II, has been hospitalized as “a precautionary measure” after feeling unwell, Buckingham Palace mentioned Wednesday.

Philip — due to flip 100 in June — was admitted to London’s non-public King Edward VII Hospital on Tuesday night following the recommendation of his physician, the palace mentioned.

He’s anticipated to stay within the hospital for just a few days of “remark and relaxation.”

A royal supply instructed Reuters that it was not related to COVID-19, and the senior royal had walked unaided into the hospital when admitted. The Queen stays at Windsor Fort, the place she and Philip have been seeing out the pandemic of their “HMS Bubble.”
