Prince William won’t be part of BAFTAs due to Prince Philip’s death

Prince William won’t be a part of this weekend’s BAFTAs ceremony as a result of of the death of his grandfather Prince Philip.

The long run king was scheduled to ship a video speech on the awards present, however has since modified his plans, Deadline experiences.

“In mild of The Duke of Edinburgh’s passing, The Duke of Cambridge will not be part of BAFTA programming this weekend,” the BAFTAS stated in an announcement to the leisure outlet. “Our ideas are with the Royal Household, to whom we provide our deepest sympathy presently.”

The British Academy of Movie and Tv Arts awards ceremony will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

Philip died Friday morning at Windsor Fort at age 99, weeks after he was hospitalized for an an infection and underwent coronary heart surgical procedure.

His funeral is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 17, Individuals experiences. Prince Harry will be in attendance, although his spouse Meghan Markle won’t be becoming a member of him, because the pregnant Duchess was not cleared to journey by her medical doctors.
