‘Promising Young Girl’ being streamed to college students free of charge

Carey Mulligan’s Oscar-buzzy film “Promising Young Girl” is being supplied free-to-view to college students to spark a dialog about sexual assault.

Focus Options has partnered with Campus Circle and the anti-rape group RAINN — the nation’s largest group standing in opposition to sexual violence — to host free digital screenings of the Emerald Fennell-directed film for college students on Thursday.

Stars Mulligan and Laverne Cox will then focus on the movie with Fennell following the screenings.
