Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez feared for her life as she hid in her workplace throughout the Capitol riot — saying “I simply hope I get to be a mother,” a fellow lawmaker recounted.
Democratic Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) recounted the frantic scene to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell after AOC had printed an Instagram Stay video describing her experience within the Jan. 6 rebellion.
