Republican former Sen. Jeff Flake endorses Joe Biden

Former Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) has endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, the former vp’s marketing campaign stated Monday.

Flake, who retired from the Senate early final 12 months, will ship remarks in a while Monday as a part of the launch of the “Republicans for Biden” effort that includes two dozen GOP former members of Congress.

Citing a Biden marketing campaign official with data of the “Republicans for Biden” effort, which is a part of the marketing campaign’s nationwide voter outreach effort, Fox Information described the endorsements as a “robust rebuke” of Trump and his administration.

“These former members of Congress cited Trump’s corruption, destruction of democracy, blatant disregard for ethical decency, and pressing have to get the nation again on track as a motive why they assist Biden,” the Crew Biden supply instructed the outlet.

Throughout final week’s Democratic Nationwide Conference, Republican former Gov. John Kasich of Ohio endorsed Biden over his 2016 presidential rival.
