(CNN Spanish) – At the age of 96, the Mexican-Argentine actress Rosita Quintana, a determine of the golden age of Mexican cinema, handed away this Monday.
The information was disclosed by the Nationwide Affiliation of Actors on its Twitter account, by which it “deeply” regretted the loss of life of the artist in Mexico Metropolis. “Our condolences to your loved ones and buddies. Relaxation in Peace ”, wrote the Affiliation.
Rosita Quintana was born in Buenos Aires on July 16, 1925 as Trinidad Rosa Quintana Muñoz. In the cinema, he starred in movies equivalent to Squash, I’m charro de levita and Don’t defend me compadre, wherein he shared the display screen with Germán “Tin Tan” Valdés and Silvia Pinal, amongst others.
His granddaughter, Nicole Kogan, had informed Televisa in late July that her grandmother had a thyroid tumor detected.
