Russell Crowe becomes Hermann Göring in Nuremberg: trailer

Sony Pictures Classics unveiled the trailer of Nuremberghistorical drama that will see Russell Crowe embody the Nazi dignitary Hermann Göring after the end of the Second World War, during the trial of the Third Reich.
The video highlights Malek’s arms in the shoes of Douglas Kelleyofficer of the intelligence service of the American army which served as a psychiatrist at the Nuremberg prison during the trials. He was responsible for a capital mission: to obtain confessions from Hermann GöringHitler’s right -hand man, on the involvement of the Nazi party in the Shoah. To achieve this, he must try to gain the confidence of the Nazi dignitary over the course of interviews, in a high -tension psychological confrontation.
The cast XXL also brings together Michael Shannon, Richard E. GrantLeo Woodall, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Lydia Peckham, Colin Hanks, Wrenn Schmidt, Lotte Verbeek et Andreas Pietschmann.
Written and produced by James Vanderbilt (screenwriter of Zodiac to finish), Nuremberg is inspired by the non-fiction book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist of Jack el-Twopublished in 2013. Vanderbilt had already explored the historic register with Truth: the price of truth In 2016, with Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford.
