Salma Hayek jokes swimsuit ‘not my wardrobe’ for ‘House of Gucci’

Salma Hayek’s latest thirst trap is on-brand in more ways than one.

The 55-year-old actress brought back her famous swimsuit snaps on Tuesday, this time with a “House of Gucci”-themed spin.

Hayek, who plays tarot card reader Pina Auriemma in the recently released film, posed in a pool wearing a plunging black one-piece emblazoned with “original Gucci.”

“This is not my wardrobe for ‘House of Gucci’ but I highly recommend it anyway,” she wrote with a smiley face emoji, before tagging the official Gucci and “House of Gucci” Instagram accounts.

It’s no surprise she recommends the poolside getup, as she regularly shares similar swimsuit-clad shots in designs ranging from a bright blue one-piece to a fringed version.

She addressed her string of swimsuit posts in a February 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying that she finds the photos “liberating.”

Leading up to the “House of Gucci” release last week, she’s also been stepping out in something a little more formal. Throughout the press tour, she sported a series of fittingly high-fashion ensembles ranging from a glittering gold gown to a blue velvet look – all from the Italian fashion house, of course.

Hayek’s “House of Gucci” casting isn’t her only connection to the luxury label, however, as she’s also married to François-Henri Pinault, the chairman and CEO of Gucci parent company Kering.

In addition to the “Eternals” actress, the Ridley Scott-directed film also stars Adam Driver, Lady Gaga, Jared Leto and Al Pacino.
