The US Secret Service is investigating death threats against Vice President Mike Pence made by pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wooden, Fox Information has discovered.
Wooden, who was banned from Twitter final week, is suspected of writing a now-deleted publish on Parler: “Get the firing squads prepared. Pence goes FIRST.”
“We’re conscious of the feedback and take all threats against our protectees significantly,” a Secret Service spokesman informed Fox Information on Saturday.
The Secret Service and different federal companies are also investigating others seen on a video contained in the US Capitol yelling “Hold Pence.”
The threats to the vice chairman come days after a pro-Trump group stormed the US Capitol to protest the formal certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. Lawmakers, employees members and others hid underneath tables and evacuated because the rioters roamed the halls of the Capitol, bearing pro-Trump flags and pounding on doorways.
