The Adam Project director Shawn Levy will reunite with Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool 3.
Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is one of the few elements from Fox’s old X-Men universe crossing over to the MCU with a third film in development at Marvel Studios. The upcoming film will be the studio’s first R-rated film with a script penned by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that Shawn Levy will direct the next Deadpool film for Marvel Studios.
Shawn Levy recently directed Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project, which just hit Netflix on Friday. The news comes after Reynolds recently said that Levy helming the next Deadpool film would be a dream. Levy is also known for directing episodes of Stranger Things and helmed other projects such as Real Steel, Big Fat Liar, Cheaper By The Dozen, and the Night at the Museum trilogy. Deadpool 3 currently doesn’t have a release date.
