Girls’ night out!
Sonja Morgan shared rare photos of her daughter, Quincy, as they attended the “Downton Abbey: A New Era” premiere at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
“Watching your daughter step out at #downtonabbey #premiere #themovie😍 @downtonabbey_official,” Morgan captioned one photo of Quincy on Instagram Sunday, showing the 21-year-old looking glam in a black tube top and pants with a fresh blowout.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum tagged her daughter and their hairstylist for the evening, Marco Maranghello, in the post and added the hashtags “#premiere #nyclifestyle.”
Quincy also shared several photos from the event to her own social media page, including one of her and her mom doing interviews on the red carpet together.
“Leaving the house on a Sunday night for @downtonabbey_official and @sonjatmorgan Mother’s Day weekend make up💕,” she captioned her post.
Morgan told Page Six at Sunday’s premiere that she and her daughter, who got a near-perfect score on her SATs in 2018, do not get to see each other often because Quincy is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m back in New York. I’m moving back into the townhouse. Excited about my comedy tour, my sangria,” she told us, adding, “My daughter is here for the summer. She’s in Ivy League in Philadelphia, so we don’t see each other on a daily basis.”
Morgan was a “Real Housewife” from Seasons 3 to 13. “RHONY” is currently on hiatus as Bravo works on rebooting the original show with a new cast and launching a second series featuring former New York “Housewives.”
When asked whether she will be asked to come back to “RHONY,” Morgan admitted she has not had much time to think about it.
“You think that I’m important to the show? I mean, I’m the comic relief, the hot mess. The hot mess success,” she told us. “I think I come off as a businesswoman. My line is in Walmart, 15 stores of Century 21, and then with COVID, everything went kaput for now. So I’m happy to be doing the comedy tour.”
Morgan then defended herself for being a “hot mess” on TV, saying, “‘Housewives’ are known for letting it all down, letting their hair down, showing what’s behind closed doors. That’s part of the territory, when people go behind closed doors and you’re partying on a trip, it can get kinda messy. We fall in bushes, and we wake up in somebody else’s swimsuit, but it’s always a great time.”
The former Bravolebrity rarely shares photos of her daughter, though she did post a throwback photo in honor of Quincy’s 21st birthday in October 2021. They previously attended the “Difficult People” premiere together in July 2016.
After Quincy made her Instagram public in March 2021, Morgan told Page Six that she was not sure her daughter was ready for the reality star life.
Morgan, 58, shares Quincy with ex-husband John Adams Morgan, 91. They were married from 1998 to 2006.
