Sophie is a character played by Gugu Mbatha on a morning show. She is trying to figure out her past. James, Sophie’s husband, is in Mbatha, along with Millie Brady, Marianne Jean Baptiste, Francois Arnaud (The Moodys), and Ari Graynor. James is played by Oliver Jackson (The Haunting of Hill House). We think that the cast from season one will be back for season two if they make it to the end of the season.

- Caroline, played by Ari Graynor
- Francois Arnaud as Harrison
- Millie Brady as Eliza
- Hannah is played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

Surface season 2 Storyline:
Sophie gets a bad blow to the head and loses her memory. She doesn’t remember who she is or where she came from. Everyone she knows thinks she might have tried to kill herself when she fell off a deck in San Francisco, but she has trouble believing it. What if all of this is true, or if she was pushed by someone and they are trying to hide it? Their idea of her great life doesn’t fit with the suicide theory, so she vows to get her memory back.
As the story goes on, she starts to see that anyone could be a bad guy, and her conscience makes her wonder if her hubby is really or someone that she thinks he is. The plot of the next part hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely to be about how the very first season would then end, which will probably be a cliffhanger. If the show is a miniseries, there might not be a second game.
Sophie’s memories are erased after she gets a serious head injury. She can’t remember who she is or where she came from. Even though everyone she knows thinks she tried to kill herself when she fell off a deck in San Francisco, she has a hard time believing it. What if nothing is real or if she was pushed and someone is trying to hide it? Their idea of her perfect life doesn’t fit with why she killed herself, so she promises to get her memories back.
As time goes on, she realizes that anyone could be a real villain, and her sense of morality begins to question if her spouse is really who she thinks he is. Even though the plot of the next episode hasn’t been made public, it’s likely that it will be concerning how the initial season ends, which means it will probably end on a cliffhanger. The show could not have a second season because it was a miniseries.
Sophie goes on a journey with her boyfriend and some other people to put her life back together. As she does this, she starts to wonder if the reality she is told is really the reality she has lived. This hot, high-stakes thrill ride asks, “What if you woke up one day and didn’t know your own secrets?” It does this through exciting turns and a breathtaking love triangle.
“Surface” is a story about finding out more about yourself. It asks if we are programmed to be who we are or if we choose who we are. The first season resolved the issue of who Sophie really was. The second season will explain why.
