Terrifying video shows wheel coming off Air Canada plane during takeoff

Gear up – flaming wheel down.

An Air Canada Categorical plane misplaced one in all its wheels because it took off from Montreal, forcing the flight to return to the airport, based on CNN.

One of many passengers aboard the high-wing Sprint 8-300 plane caught the horrifying sight of the flame-spewing wheel coming off the left most important touchdown gear.

“I’m presently on a plane that simply misplaced a wheel. 2020 beginning off nicely,” he wrote in French on Twitter as Flight 8684 took off Friday from Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau Worldwide Airport en path to Bagotville, some 23 miles to the north, with 49 passengers and three crew members aboard.

The dual-engine plane is provided with six tires — two on the best touchdown gear, two on the left and two on the nostril.

“The skilled pilots maintained full management of the plane,” Manon Stuart, a spokeswoman for Jazz Aviation, the operator of the flight, informed CNN in a press release.

“Our pilots are nicely skilled to take care of such conditions and responded based on our commonplace working procedures,” she added. “Our upkeep personnel in Montreal are conducting a radical inspection of the plane to find out the trigger and proceed with the required repairs.”
