The Fantastic Four achieves the 3rd best start of the year in France
First successful steps for Marvel superheroes led by Pedro Pascal.
THE Four fantastic: first steps did not suffer the same fate as Thunderbolts*very well received by the press but a little shunned by the public. The comeback of the original Marvel family is a critical success and at the French box office, with already more than 150,000 admissions recorded for their first day in theaters.
With an excellent average per copy (273), the film with Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby signs the 3rd best start of the year in France, behind Lilo & Stitch et Minecraftand the best for a superhero film in 2025. Well above Superman and Thundebolts*who had just exceeded the 80,000 spectators’ mark.
Behind, it is Dangerous Animalsthe B series with Jay Courtney in Serial Killer obsessed with sharks, who is doing the best. Noticed during the last fifteen of filmmakers from the Cannes Film Festival, the “coolest film of summer” (according to the criticism of First), attracted 12,000 curious people, and almost 20,000 if we count the previews.
The Top 5 is completed by the Comédie Française Like rich (with Brahim Bouhlel), the drama Sorry, Baby (produced by Barry Jenkins) and another editorial fee this week: On days comingthe first striking feature film by Nathalie Najem, With Bastien Bouillon and Zita Hanrot.
