The Kingdom Season 2 Storyline:
The story revolves on pastor Emilio Vázquez Pena, who is running for president in the approaching elections in Argentina. After one of the selected candidates is killed, the television show takes an intriguing turn. Pena then assumes the presidency of the country and begins to investigate the identity and motivations of the killer.
The country is shocked by Armando Badajoz’s assassination in the first season, but his adviser Rubén is certain that Reverend Emilio would be the best choice for president. However, since they are always trying to outdo each other, Rubén and Emilio do not get along well at work. Emilio wins the elections towards the end of the season, and he picks the ministers who will serve in his ministry. Much to Ana’s surprise, he selects Julio as his Chief of Staff. Rubén is taken aback by how Emilio manipulates the audience in spite of playing his cards correctly. The newly elected president fabricates a tale to explain why Remigio attacked him and not Badajoz, whose death was unlucky. When Jonathan and Tadeo leave the country, they end themselves at what seems to be a little hamlet.
If there is a series 2, we shall learn what awaits Jonathan and Tadeo in the future. In the thick of a social and criminal network, Julio finds himself. We shall see what he accomplishes next since in season 1, he attempts to assist Candia in building a case against Emilio. Rubén and Emilio seem to have a lot on their plates, and more people are sure to suffer as a result of their risky antics. Therefore, all of these issues and more will resolved if the program return for a second season.
The Kingdom Season 1 Review:
A young child is seen walking through the night on top of a big tower in the prologue of The Kingdom’s first episode. He discovers a boy inside. They agree in silence and exchange a knife and also some clothing.
Then, we jump forward to the morning of a political event. The situation is tense, and Emilio is prepared to cooperate and Armando to win over the audience. The kid of the opposing party was being detained in the basement of Emilio’s restaurant. His name was Julio. They are no longer in love, and there is conflict in the household.
A weird guy appears in the throng just as the demonstration seems to be proceeding as planned. However, he’s not the only one who seems unhappy, as a large group of rioters appear and start distributing fliers advertising the “church of corruption.” Julio is afraid that this may be a preview of what is to come when things start to clearly spiral out of control.
So, Armando is stabbed in the back on stage by this odd stranger. Even though he is detained and taken away, Julio and Emilio are startled and band together to remove the candidate off the podium.
Backstage, Armando is pronounced dead, Julio is in disbelief, and DA Candia arrives to examine the corpse and begin an investigation. As soon as she enters the scene, the squad is directed to question their suspect and examine Armando’s corpse.
Ramiro visits Candia that evening as the inquiry gets going. He can validate the name of the individual in detention by the information he has access to. His name is Remigio Cardenas. Ramiro claims that he is a man of God who serves just at Church for the Light and is devoid of any history of violence.
Although that may be the case, Tadeo appears to be covering it up Remigio’s actions by burying his firearms in the backyard after singing Amazing Grace on stage. then why?
