The Lost Bus trailer: Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera in the heart of the flames

Directed by Paul Greanggrass, the film inspired by a true story will be released on Apple TV+ in October.

The trailer of The Lost Bus – At the heart of the flames has just been revealed, announcing a drama all the more spectacular than inspired by real facts. Directed by Paul Greanggrass, the film plunges spectators into the hell of a historic fire that affected the city of Paradise in 2018 in the United States. We follow a school bus driver played by Matthew McConaughey, and a teacher played by America Ferrera. Together, they try the impossible: save twenty-two children trapped in a bus in the middle of the flames.

It has been five years since Paul Greengrass had not made any feature film (The missionin 2020, with Tom Hanks). The Lost Bus – At the heart of the flames will be mounted in preview in the “Special Presentation” section of the Toronto Festival, and will then arrive on October 3 on Apple TV+. This is an adaptation of the book Paradise : One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire Lizzie Johnson.

Alongside McConaughey and Ferrera, the cast also includes Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson and Spencer Watson. Look at the trailer:
