Tom Holland Is On The Run In First ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Clip

The opening clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home finds Tom Holland officially on the run.

Spider-Man: No Way Home finally hits theaters next week, and fans are excited to not only see the return of certain villains from different universes, but also how the repercussions of the previous film will be resolved. In particular, how Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker deals with the fact that Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) and J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) have officially revealed his secret identity.

An official clip from the opening scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home picks up right where Far From Home left off. We see Tom Holland‘s webhead reckon with the situation, as the public around him gain interest in him and his girlfriend Michelle “MJ” Jones (Zendaya). The two are then shown swinging together across New York City to escape all the commotion. There’s also a small treat for fans watching Hawkeye, in which we see a promotional poster for Rogers the Musical.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming film:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B.
