WASHINGTON – America on Monday imposed sanctions on two members of Burma’s navy junta for the February 1 coup.
The Treasury Department’s Workplace of International Belongings Management stated the transfer was focusing on Lt. Gen. Moe Myint Tun and Gen. Maung Maung Kyaw.
« The navy should reverse their actions and urgently restore the democratically elected authorities in Burma, or the Treasury Department is not going to hesitate to take additional motion, » the division stated in an announcement.
